Chris Baker (tight end)

Chris Baker (born November 18, 1979 in Queens, New York) is an American football tight end for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at Michigan State.

Baker was drafted by the New York Jets in the third round (88th overall) of the 2002 NFL draft. During the 2005 season, he served as backup to Doug Jolley until becoming injured and placed on the injured reserve list. Baker had a breakout season in 2006, setting career bests in receiving yards, receptions, touchdowns and starts, as the Jets finished 10-6 earning the fifth wild card spot. After a career year in 2007, Chris said the Jets promised him a new contract and lied.

On February 20, 2009, Baker was released by the Jets.

Baker was signed by the New England Patriots on February 27, 2009.

Chris Baker (politician)

Chris Baker BA LLB (Hons), Notary Public (born 9 July 1958), Australian politician, is a member of the Liberal Party, and was a Member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly (1996-2001) and Joondalup city councillor (2001-2005).

Baker was born in Brisbane and moved to Western Australia in 1989. Prior to entering parliament as the member for the newly-created seat of Joondalup, he was a barrister, solicitor and proprietor of a law firm. In parliament, he was involved in a number of committees, including the Public Accounts Committee. He lost the seat at the February 2001 election to his Labor rival, Tony O'Gorman.

On 5 May 2001, Baker was elected as councillor for the Marina ward of Joondalup with an overwhelming majority of votes.. He was one of a group of councillors who supported the controversial CEO, Denis Smith (refer Joondalup article), and was criticised by the inquiry into the City of Joondalup by lawyer Greg McIntyre.

Christopher (Chris) Baker (born September 15, 1985 in Waterdown, Ontario) is a Canadian soccer goalkeeper who most recently played for Toronto Lynx in the USL Premier Development League.

He started playing soccer as a youth with Saltfleet Go Ahead SC and Woodbridge Strikers. He attended Waterdown District High School and was named team captain and was MVP in his three seasons, as well as being a member of the Ontario Provincial Soccer Program.

Chris Baker (talk radio host)

Chris Baker is an American comedian and radio talk show host.

As a comedian, Baker has toured with comics like Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Jerry Seinfeld, among others. He was host of The Chris Baker Show, a radio talk show based in Houston, Texas and now hosts his talk show in Minneapolis, Minnesota on 100.3 KTLK FM.

Baker has been nominated as Radio & Records magazine's major market "Talk Host of the Year" for the past three years, he's won the March of Dimes "Air Award" as "Best Talk Host" in Houston, and has been named the Houston Radio Society's "Entertainer of the Year." Baker believes that global warming is a scam, illegal immigration is destroying the U.S. and that Magic Johnson faked his AIDS.

Baker will be returning to the Houston market in March 2009, on KPRC Radio 950AM, according to an article in the Houston Chronicle (2/18/09).
